Casa Sol & Figo is a spacious one-bedroom apartment designed for the way we like to travel — plenty of room to settle in, a proper kitchen, comfortable living space and a large covered terrace that becomes another room altogether. A sofa bed in the living room provides additional sleeping space, allowing the apartment to accommodate up to four guests.

Praia da Luz has the easy rhythm of a beach village — walk to the sand, cafés, restaurants and the promenade. And when you want a little more, historic Lagos is just 7 km away, with its old town, marina, shops, restaurants and nightlife.

Close enough to dip in whenever you like. Far enough away to come home to Luz.

Our Story

Jim & Stephanie

We’re based in the United States and travel often, usually choosing vacation rentals ourselves. Over the years we’ve learned how much the small details matter — a comfortable bed, a kitchen that works, enough space to unpack, useful local recommendations and a place that feels considered rather than generic.

Casa Sol & Figo was created with that perspective. It’s the kind of place we want to arrive at ourselves — comfortable, easy and connected to the place around it. We hope our guests quickly settle in and make it their own place in Luz.
